Privacy Policy
At Zunabo, we respect your privacy and only collect what is strictly necessary. This page describes precisely what the zunabo.com site actually does, based on how it is actually built.
Zunabo is established in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The EU's GDPR does not legally bind this activity, but we voluntarily apply its principles for the sake of transparency, in particular because our ebooks also reach an international French-speaking audience.
What we collect, and why
Quote request (the /devis/ form)
Data: name, email, phone (optional), the services you are interested in, a description of your need, and your cart selection if you used the estimator.
Purpose: to respond to your request and carry out the service if you proceed.
Legal basis: steps taken at your own initiative towards a future service contract.
Retention: for as long as needed to process your request, then for the duration of our business relationship if it continues; deleted on simple request.
Customer reviews
Data: name, rating, comment, service concerned.
Purpose: to collect and publish customer feedback on our services.
Legal basis: your consent, given when you submit the review.
Retention: reviews not selected for publication are deleted; published reviews remain until you ask for their removal.
Note: a review is only published after manual review by Zunabo; the name and comment you submit then become publicly visible on the site.
Who has access to your data
Dan Ibiliabo (Zunabo), and the following technical providers, strictly for the purposes described:
- Cloudflare, Inc. (United States): hosting of the site and of the quote-request/review database;
- Resend: sending automated emails (acknowledgement of your quote request, internal notification to Zunabo);
- Telegram: internal notification to Dan Ibiliabo when a new request or review comes in (this channel is only used to alert him, not to publish your data).
These providers may process data from servers located outside your country of residence (notably the United States, for Cloudflare). We do not currently have a formal GDPR-style transfer safeguard in place; this page will be updated if that changes. Your data is never sold or used for advertising.
Your rights
You may at any time request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a limit on the use of your data, or object to its processing, by writing to contact@zunabo.com. If you believe your rights are not being respected, you may also contact the data protection authority of your country of residence (for example the CNIL if you live in France).
Security & cookies
The site operates over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). It uses a single, strictly necessary cookie: zunabo_lang, which remembers your language preference (French/English) for one year. There is no advertising cookie and no third-party analytics tracker. The site's fonts are currently loaded from Google Fonts' servers: this does not set a cookie but does send your browser's IP address to Google when the page loads.
